I met Sheelanagig!

O my goodness. After having known her for close on 7 years, I finally met childeproof in person, in London, on Friday.

I was only the second-ever live LiveJournal friend she'd ever met evah! (The other one is msilverstar, yay!)

She wore her icon on a necklace so I knew it was her and not an axe murderer.

childeproof is fab! I was so happy to meet her after all this time!

She is great but made a conscious decision to leave LJ some years ago. Bad luck for the rest of us. :-( She's doing all sorts of things but I'm not sure what to divulge; as she's not on LJ now, I feel uneasy just saying -- but do you have her email??

Yes, she commutes from London to her work in Dublin, except she's on leave at the moment. She deliberately left LJ some years ago which is bad luck for us. :-( But it was a work/LJ balance decision.

I mustn't make statements of behalf of Sheelanagig and it is true, she is not always around in London but do you have her email? The axe murderer thing is so funny; do we still even take that seriously? It used to be a big trope back in the early webdays. Other side of globe! Well, you have NOTHING to be envious about, and I have everything!
