Unsurprisingly, this resulted in a search for pictures of orc actors, and this is what I found:

Stephen Ure (Grishnakh - and not Gorbag as TORN led us to believe!)
You all know this picture already but it's the only one out there I could find.

Jed Brophy (Sharku/Snaga)
He's 5th from the top.
I don't know how reliable these credits are (because in the books Sharku and Snaga are two quite distinct characters - not wanting to spoil!). Also Sala Baker is listed as being a manflesh uruk but maybe he's doubling as Sauron.
My, my, what a lot of time one can waste when feeling down.
A word on race: It's certainly nice to see some more non-white actors (Nathaniel Lees, Robbie Magasiva) in addition to Lawrence, Sala and the stand-ins Kiran, B.K. and Fon (and whatever happened to Jay Laga'aia?) but it's the same old same-old to see so many of them cast as lowly beastlike orcs. But then again, when you read Tolkien it's quite clear that orcs represent some non-European (probably African) race (not to mention those mean-eyed Southrons). And Peter Jackson and Richard Taylor do seem to have made the orcs more beastly-monsterish and avoided the obvious references to "inferior" humans that you get in Tolkien.
So, whatever: the maoris are there, they got paid for it, they're credited -- true, they're hidden under piles of latex but just look at them in the flesh!
