Yes, that's how many words I wrote today! Write-ins really do work. I sat on my bum in that café for 4 hours and that's what came out. A lot of it is rubbish but once again, the insight I gained in Hebden Bridge proved itself again: you've got to write quite a bit of rubbish before the nuggets come out. They won't come out just like that; they want to burrow through shit.

Overall, I'm not up-to-date but I'm on track and I'm writing. Actually, today I worried that my rl was suffering. Don't I have seminars to prepare? Academic papers to draft? Plus, I've bought myself around 30 novels in the past 2 weeks; they sit waving at me from across the room. *waves back at them*

Also: I've found my Arvon notebook!! So soon I will post more debriefings!!!
