In non-soap news: I went for an internal job interview today and got the job! I am now acting deputy head of department. I feel exhausted -- stayed up too late preparing the presentation, woke up too early with nerves, then the adrenalin.

Thank you!! I am totally daunted. I woke up at 6 am, feeling terrified. So, of course, I spent all morning watching Bollywood and German soaps. Entirely appropriate activities for a Deputy Head of Department, no doubt. Argh.

SGA fic? Put on hold because the lovely bidders who won me for Haiti wanted Dorli, instead! And man, that has been difficult to put together. I am rusty on Dorli! And they've moved on and look all different and have different characterisations! We must chat about this one time.

We must indeed chat about changing characterisations! I have just been writing POTC for my help_haiti bidder, and this is not the POTC I once wrote, not at all. (There are shades of John Sheppard in Norrington, and shades of more formal language throughout because of the other stuff I am writing.)

Am happy to meet up for coffee some time!
