happy easter
Apr. 1st, 2010 10:14 pmI'm off to see my sister for the Easter holidays and have taken 'annual leave'. I've never needed to take 'annual leave' before. Academics generally just tend to bugger off when they don't have teaching. But the adhod must sign off formally! Or I'd never get a moment's rest. I have been:
• writing a report on the introduction of new mathematically-calibrated feedback coversheets (and why we don't want them)
• checking timetable rooming forms and staff constraints
• chasing up colleagues to send me the above
• attended a meeting entitled, I kid you not, R&IP
• bought presents for all nine members of the Easter family
• organised the selling of the house
• staged the house for purpose of the above
&bull, bought catfood
• written and sent off a paper on genre painting
• collated 80 essays for marking over Easter
• created two databases for purposes of timetabling
• tried to wade through my emails, not succeeding in ever getting beyond the first page
• done other stuff that I now can't remember because I'm too busy/tired/running around
I seem to have a life. Of sorts. How did this happen? *looks around in bafflement*
Some might say, of course, 'wot? rooming forms you call a life? hah!' And those some have a point. Yet...! I am not depressed.

Date: 2010-04-13 09:21 pm (UTC)Okay. Sounds logical to me.
Also, I messaged you on Facebook! There is no guarantee I will look there again until about August, but still.
Have not seen new doctor but am worried about new scriptwriter who is not Scriptman Of Wonder (whose name I, of course, promptly forgot as soon as I wrote this sentence -- Don someone or other??).
