I see you're enjoying the WC? I have to say right now I'm a bit disappointed by how the alleged 'favourites' have performed so far. Germany excluded. And maybe the Netherlands.

I love it all. The boring games are... boring but we have to endure them. It had better get better. But then, waaah, it does get better and, waaah, the wrong team wins (i.e. not Cameroon) and I want the boring games where I don't care back...!!!!

It's strange, though, this WC is not very slashy, somehow. *looks around* There's a bit of action in that comment porn comm but nothing else. And I'm so busy that all I can do is keep up with the actual games -- no time for writing or pic research...

Very true about wanting the boring games back. Sometimes it's wonderful to just not really care.

Yes. What's with that? Where we just better in finding the slashy? Huh.

Dare I voice the unpopular opinion that Brazil appeared a little .. um ... ordinary last night?

Brazil!! Never ordinary! And they certainly weren't ordinary tonight! I think everyone's expectations re Brazil are always so stellar that when they just perform extraordinarily, people forget that they're still ten times better than the bores who played earlier.

Except for Cameroon. *weeps*

Must agree on the comment above. Personally I actually found North Korea to be more worth watching... and I admit I'd have been happy to see them win. That goal towards the end was quite a joy.

It's really cool to see how fast and fabulously you've fallen into the World Cup atmosphere though, lol!

Jong Tae Tse! (or however you spell the lovely weeping-during-hymns man) Yes, a gutsy team although one worries about their politics.

How fast? I only joined during the opening match... Didn't watch a single qualifier; didn't care.

*laughs*

Obsessed, moi?
