I've just found out who tonight's referee will be: Viktor Kassai from Hungary!
I vaguely remember this referee as being okay. But these photos suggest interesting hand gestures that I look forward to discovering in tonight's match!
Here's his team: He is Viktor Kassai (Hungary), and his assistants are the deliciously named Gabor Eros (Hungary) and Tibor Vamos (Hungary) plus the fourth official Michael Hester (New Zealand -- oh land of the Duck!)
Who knows who will referee the third place play-off and the final? Fifa has not decided yet. I so do hope it will be Irmatov. Although there's a third contender, the delectable Yuichi Nishimura (remember the Australia:Germany game?
