i had a life (journal)
Sep. 12th, 2010 09:59 pmGuess what?
You know how we all say 'get a life' or 'I don't have a life'. Well, guess what, I'm hardly ever on LJ these days so theoretically I 'have a life' but that turns out to be wrong!
It's Life [sic] journal wot's the life and fandom is a life. And work just prevents you from having that life.
Ah well.
*waves resignedly* (It's Freshers Week this week, and then it's teaching week 1, and busybusybusy.)
Btw, has anyone here got experience of handing out student bumph in the form of usb sticks rather than photocopied leaflets? (See how exciting my putative life is??)

Date: 2010-09-13 10:19 pm (UTC)This is interesting. My thoughts were different! I wanted to lure them with shiny present, get corporate sponsorship and amaze management with my incredible networking skills.
I know it sounded as if I was wanting to do something out of pure love for the students but alas...
Do you think people don't appreciate usb sticks and throw them out? I love them! I would love to be given one!
