I am so happy right now! The ever cheering cherrybina whom I only met a very little while ago has posted the awesomest of awesome Inception squee post to help a relative newbie like me squee. Thank you so much, and thank you everybody for linking and posting and omg, how many years do I need in limbo to plough through all the squee???!!

I'm going to have to buy a new printer tomorrow and at once because I can't survive any longer with my old one wot packed it in a few months ago because I need to print out all this fic. It is starting to be essential to my survival.

Um. Sorry everyone who's not with me in this fandom. Scroll on past...

To be fair, Cherrybina is big A/E shipper so it's not surprising that she has a lot of friends who are also A/E! I have (hah) ferreted out some other communities, incl. a Robert Fischer one and there's a Saito one floating around somewhere, too, and some Ariadne ones. But Inception is clearly no HP/lotrips-style ensemble fandom. I have to say even SGA tended, towards the end of my time there, to veer increasingly towards OTP Sheppard/McKay. It is odd how fandoms do this, and quite fascinating.

As I am currently firmly within the A/E squee, however, I ain't complainin'.... ;-)

Nah, I don't judge her or anyone :) Seems like they're really celebrating their part of the fandom. I just wish there was something like that not quite as focused on A/E you know? There just isn't. I had a look through all the communities, etc, and it's sort of poor on other pairings and stories. The comms you talk about... meh...

Yes, it's true about many fandoms often running into that kind of channel at some point... it's far less fascinating for those who are not keen on what is usually percieved as the most obvious pairings ;P

Cherrybina's squee is so contageus, and I truly regret not being able to fall for Inception, because she really makes it sound so pretty, sexy and fun.

I have observed fandoms from the outside and regretted not being able to fall for them so I feel your pain (or whatever that is called because it's not really pain as it's more like indifference). It's very odd; no fandom has bitten me since SGA and I felt it as a sort of little hole of loss but what can you do? Merlin, Sherlock, the squee wafted by me. And somehow, who knows why, this one grabbed hold of me.

Ah, Fandom Mister Right will come for you one day, too! ;-p
