Inception rec: inanimate object slash
May. 6th, 2011 10:10 amIf there is one subgenre I cannot resist, it's inanimate object slash (remember toaster slash, as inaugurated by
badgermonkey??)
hesselives, Attraction.
Cobb is a magnet, and Arthur is steel.
omg this fic, you people. It has a brilliant conceit, leading to delicious adjectives and metaphors. It has very short, often one-sentence paragraphs so it reads like a poem. It has inanimate objects of the first order. It is so fantastic! (And really short.)

Date: 2011-05-06 11:17 pm (UTC)Inception is actually a really good film. And you'll be in with all the kids at school as my students (barely older than yours) certainly all love and adore it. I saw it with t'family when it first came out and then it took me only six months before I discovered the fandom that came with it. (Duh?) I'm still mystified why it has a fandom, actually, even though I'm technically in the fandom. It's a very odd fandom, what's more.
But that's by the by: enjoy teh film! T'boys like it too so t'h may, too. It has great music by Hans Zimmer!
