Ooh, it didn't even occur to me that they are two-tone but you're right, they totally are! They GO WITH EVERYTHING! (Note: Inception fandom has loosened my caplock key...) And hello! *glomps* Are you okay????
Laz!!! Nice to hear from you!!!!! *glomps* These shoes are totally slenderizing!! I had to have them (although I just bought two other summer shoes 10 days ago, *facepalms*). Your icon: so topical! How are you? How are cats?
Hello! My icon is indeed perfect for responding to any shoe post! I need some new sandals for the summer as I am bored of all mine and want something a bit different. I am out with a friend who enjoys shopping this friday so I may make her shoe shop with me. :)
I am fine and more importantly so are the cats. How's tricks with you? And how are your cats doing? You should post pictures of them!
Your icon IZ shoe post. All the more reason for everybody to do shoeposts so that you can use the icon!
New sandals are a great pick-me-up for summer. I bought gladiator ones last year and loved them to death and wore them ALL THE TIME. In Turkey it was so hot they practically melted into my feet; I tanned them while wearing them. But this year somehow I wanted something smarter, something work-suitable.
The cats have more or less survived the move. One cat was fine after a few days; the other one went into meltdown and shat liquid pooh onto t'son's bed, was then locked out of the house and refused to come back in; instead, lived for a week outside in the snow and stubbornly slept in a flower pot. Now he's fine! (just...) We also have chickens next door: the cats are wary.
One of my cats went missing for 10 days last summer and it turned out she was scared of the chickens the people who live at the back of me had just acquired. She wouldn't go past their cage which was against the gap in the fence. On the other hand, my mother cat would sit on top of the cage contemplating lunch!
Glad they've settled in now. Big change is hard for everyone and animals don't get the choice so they can get very stressed out about moving. They're such territorial animals, and it's not their territory.
Chickens! It's a trend! We have acquaintance who've got chickens, and our new next-door-neighbours have TWO CHICKENS which I can see from our bedroom window. I love chickens!!!! The cats won't go near them, :-)
The cats are territorial even among themselves. One takes the ground floor, the other the top, that kind of thing. Do yours do that?
Yes! .My cats are rarely in the same room and when they are they are decidedly not taking any notice of each other! And if one is getting attention from me the other will go all tense and grumpy. LOL! Fortunately, one is a lap cat and the other has never sat on anyone's lap the whole time I've had her. Makes it much easier!
There should be thousands! Cimorene was quite good at updating with shoe posts but she's buggered on off to Dreamwidth. And cherrybina squeezes some lovely shoes in among all the Inception squee (they are all on her feet, what's more; she seems to own thousands.)
And you? When will you post shoe post??
The ones I bought this morning were on the back of two other summer shoes wot I bought 10 days ago but those were more sensible replacement shoes while these are just Love. And they are so comfortable, too! And I can wear them to work and feel lady-like! It's been 30 years since I last owned T-bar shoes! And I don't think I've ever owned peep toes.
Yes, Office! Clarks are also good; I have fantastic Clark winter boots. I have some green shoes which were my fab shoes of the year 2 years ago: they are, surprisingly, from Next.
I haven't worn a T-strap since the 1970s so I'm very excited and feel very elegant! I'm going to buy tons more. I love shoes that actually stay on; with pumps, I sometimes have to curl my toes to keep them on and then I get cramp. :-(
i'm all over nail polish - i like obnoxious colours like purple and green and blue. i'm looking for new sandals; as soon as i get some, i shall show off my nails.
