It's an astounding death. As t'son said: Most people will have found out about his death via a device that he himself invented.
He is a person who has had a direct and personal and deep impact on my life. It's very strange to realise how a person whom you've never met (and who's not a politician) can do that.
I type this on his invention. I listen to music on his invention. I found slash and fandom on his invention!
