I've done it! I wrote orc-slash! Inspired by [livejournal.com profile] eyebrowofdoom's orclicious orc-snippet and by the discovery of the orc_slash list and its archive, I found myself penning a whole orc-fic in t'reference library's tearoom this morning!

*falls down in self-amazement*

My first fps!! Wheee. I can't believe it. It took me one year to get up the nerve to write fps. Climb every mountain, forge every stream.

Wheeee!! Will type up and send to fps-knowledgeable beta.

A univocalic ficlet: Fuck Duck. Such luck! Duck's bum: yum.

P.S., [livejournal.com profile] demelzagirl: 'univocalic poetry' is not in my Dictionary!! Eeek. Battle of the literary reference works.

Mood today again courtesy of the Dachsaffe.

Go Lobelia!! Am so pleased you wrote orc!slash! Now you have written your first fps, you have no excuse not to write some black-haired Legolas. *heh*

Yes, Legolas/orc seems quite a popular pairing over on the orc_slash list. I suppose it's the common elvish ancestry (all very Darwinian!!).

*gg*

Ooooh, univocalic!

There is something terribly wrong when I am more intrigued by the concept of univocalic poetry than by the prospect of all the fun and exciting things (email, mainly) that I got out of bed to do.

FPS! Yay! It's a slippery slope. FPS needs the Weird Pairing Fairy (in this case, you, darling [livejournal.com profile] lobelia321).

Weird Pairing Fairy! *snorts hysterically*

Orcs are so very *un*-fairylike... But you get to use words like 'fistular' and 'grume'. (Well, I get to use those words, anyway. *g*)

But it's also a tad sick, writing orc-slash. Disturbingly so.
