oh dear, not an Orli fan, are you? i know there is a backlash against him right now because he is uber popular with the teeny-booper set. but i happen to like him, and this look - and i wonder if the pink socks are part of the costume or his own ... ? *sigh* i think he is beautiful, and if he can milk his looks for what it's worth, then go him. i happen to like men who pout, especially elves like Rumil :) i better stop babbling now before ...

And, *sigh*, I used to be an Orligal. I did. And I still love melancholy!Orli, he is *my* Orli, but we never see him anymore, we just see endless Vogue-photoshoot-pouty-Orlis.

Rumil is Haldir's brother - you can see him for about 30 seconds in the theatrical version of FOTR, and was sadly cut for the extended dvd FOTR. *sigh* Rumil is played by Jorn Benzon.

I am not the best person to defend Orlando. I am not going to pretend that he has two brain cells to rub together. I am not going to pretend that I have seen any evidence that he can act. He is very, very pretty though.

I have written some fota tonight. I have been planning to introduce a het story line involving warts into fota. I have been studying a wartish Orlando pic for inspiration. I have rather a lot of half written parts to finish before I can move on to the wart het stuff.

While away on my research trip, my endless epic (fast approaching FOTAen proportions - you are a *terrible* influence) completely hetted itself out. Which was interesting.

P.S. Oh, and not only hetted itself but even went *parental*. I introduced all manner of OCs in the form of children of characters.

Heh, will be castigated forever by slashdom. But I just felt like reflecting upon own experience for a bit. And when children do get introduced into fanfic, it's nearly always excruciatingly bad and gag-making.
