I've been kind of quiet on my L-J front because the Jubilee holiday is sucking away all of my screentime. What with the house full of nagging children (not institutionalised for a full 5 days, argh) and constant football claiming my attention and sunshine to be sat in...

But yes, am still backing Senegal. Have switched loyalties away from Cameroon after the stupid Ireland game, too lame. I would love to see Senegal v. Argentina in the final. Will never happen, of course, *sob*

Am sobbing continuously, anyway. Nations pitted against nations makes me weep even more copiously than predictable Hollywood tripe. I only had to read about Senegal declaring a national holiday after their victory over France to have tears coursing down my cheeks.

Ah, it's what I love about international sports. It's just one gigantic weep fest.

And muscly chests, of course. Mustn't forget those.

Yup. I watch sports for purely aesthetic reasons (you know, gymnastics and swimming). Don't really care who wins.
