I feel absurd doing this meme. But I do like jewels. They have such pretty names, look geometric and promise endless fic potential. I have an idea for a gem!fic but it's orig and I don't know when I will ever write it. It has lapis lazuli in it, Afghanistan, Iraq and the World Trade Center.

Yeah, I'm apparently a diamond too. Never been enthusiastic about them. Plus it has to be pointed out that if I acted with 'grace and elegance' for more than about four seconds my friends would want to know what had happeend to the real me.
