Today I visited sheldrake and it was extremely nice. I'm afraid I wasn't the most scintillating of companies as I'm feeling rather low at the moment but the visit was very cheering. Shel's house is lovely, as are its inmates, and the boy was disturbingly placid throughout the day but in a good mood all evening. And I'm so glad I finally got to see Foster's Willis building!

lotrips-specific vocab

Pursuant of thamiris's recent musings on fandom-specific vocabulary, I started thinking about the lexicon specific to lotrips.

Here are some words and terms I can think of whose meanings are insiderishly lotrippian and whose usage would be opaque to anybody outside the fandom (and possibly to many people inside the fandom as well...).

- beagle

- the tin hats

- secret gay message (as pertaining to Domlijah's shirts)

- orlandish (er, coined by me, hence included, *gg*)

- crampand

- liek omg wtf 111 @-@ (do other fandoms spoof this as well?)

Any others? I know there are more!!! Gimme gimme.
