I've been feeling too low to read LJ even.

Bleurch.

But Dr Who was great! We were on the edge of our seats the entire episode and aargh, it's only part one!

This is the best series of Dr Who evah. And Eccleston as the Doctor is really growing on me now. I was sceptical at first, having been imprinted with Tom Baker but I am totally and utterly convinced now. He is the definitive Doctor! He's got just the perfect mix of manic intensity, worrying boyish laughs, omg-i've-lost-the-plot-ness and weird looks.

And Captain Jack!!!!! Ladies, you don't wanna know.

And all of a sudden, in the final few minutes there, Dr Who morphed into slashiness!!! Were they flirting or what? Captain Jack and that man in the TV studio (what was his name? Davitch or something?). This is not the place. Or whatever the Doctor said in response. Hah!! And I did rather like that TV man.

Anyway, what an episode. And Dr Who: what a triumph of fantastic scripting over special effects. Lucas, eat your guts out, your silly CGI critters ain't got nothin' on the tin can daleks.

When the daleks appeared on the screen, we screamed!

On another note (and you'll notice that I've chosen to theme each of my posts tonight and spam 'em rather than make one long big porridgy one with sub-headings):

Does anyone know anything about continuing education and adult education? I've got a job interview (111) in the continuing education sector coming up and am trying to bring myself up to speed really fast.

I am so depressed by my present job. I need to get out, even if it means commuting.
