we have canon!
Jan. 30th, 2006 12:58 pmomg, I have seen McKay and Sheppard move and talk. I managed to download an ep (thank you, thank you, o nemeless darling!), and then I couldn't see it, of course, despite new wizardry, but then I cleverly managed to download some sort of codec application and then something called a Doctor (Doctor Who??) and then, magically or anciently, my avi file transmorphed itself into a movie file and at first I could only hear voices but then I rebooted and now I'm seeing all of it,omg, it's fanfic come to life.
I am totally (and some might say, disturbingly) excited by this. It is Trinity, recced by all and sundry, and I will watch it over lunch!
I am so happy! Although I tormented poor old Draco earlier on today by writing some horrible pages about him, i.e. about horrible things that happen to him. But as David Mitchell said, there is nothing that gets plot going quite as much as inventing a character that the reader likes and then making horrible things happen to that character, preferably of the crime sort. I, of course, don't have to 'invent' the character; I just get to invent the horrible things, *gg*.
omg, I am a computer genius, I converted avi to mov, I can now LICK MY SCREEN. Except, argh, no, this is pristine LED and I am not having it licked or even breathed upon. *lightly passes FlyLady duster across surface of ibook in reverent awe*
